雞鳴寺 Jiming Temple

The Jiming Temple (Chinese: 鸡鸣寺) is a renowned Buddhist temple in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. It is one of the most antique temples in Nanjing.

The temple was first built in 557 during the Liang Dynasty, and was later destroyed many times, until it was later rebuilt during the Ming Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Hongwu in 1387.
