Traditional Chinese was used on the post box. That was before simplified Chinese was adopted in China.

Pink post boxes are for love letters only! xD Interesting, isn’t it? They can be love letters for lovers, friends, family, etc.

I wonder if those old post boxes can still be found in China…*_*
