“I love Hong Kong” tram postcard :D

Bought it at a newsstand in rainy TST yesterday:

Since I’m from Hong Kong, I almost never collect postcards of Hong Kong. :P But this one is special for me! :D <3

This postcard is kind of old (according to the old lady at the newsstand) so it was sold at a higher price. xD  (I didn’t even bother to haggle. :P I always feel too embarrassed to do so, which is why I avoid travelling to certain places. :P)

By the way, since I really love eating Nissin instant noodles (YUM! >_<) , I’m hoping to find postcards showing Nissin ads on tram or bus:

Rachel is my colleague from Guangzhou (廣州) so I managed to ask her to send this to me. xDDD Since traditional Chinese is only used in Hong Kong and Taiwan but not in China (simplified Chinese is used there), I’m not sure if my request will offend some Chinese people. :-| (Hopefully not)

I hope to receive more 愛 from other provinces in China! :D

I love this postcard in which Pippi Långstrump is writing a letter using a fountain pen. >_<

Swedish stamps. :D What does EKONOMIBREV mean? @@ Something to do with economy?

Here’s a brief introduction about Pippi Långstrump from wiki:

Pippi Longstocking (Swedish: Pippi Långstrump) is a fictional character in a series of children’s books by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.

Nine-year-old Pippi is unconventional, assertive, and has superhuman strength, being able to lift her horse one-handed without difficulty. She frequently mocks and dupes adults she encounters, an attitude likely to appeal to young readers; however, Pippi usually reserves her worst behavior for the most pompous and condescending of adults. Pippi’s anger is reserved for the most extreme cases, such as when a man ill-treats her horse.

Like Peter Pan, Pippi does not want to grow up. She is the daughter of a buccaneer captain and as such has adventurous stories to tell. She has four best friends, two animals (her horse and a monkey) and two humans, the neighbor’s children Tommy and Annika.
